The World Harmonies Competition is a prestigious international event organized by the World Harmonies Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to nurturing young musicians, celebrating diverse musical traditions, and fostering creativity in performance and composition.
Each year, the competition invites outstanding young performers worldwide to submit video recordings showcasing their technical skills, artistic expression, and interpretative depth. Participants will be evaluated across age divisions and instrumental categories. Based on these submissions, multiple winners will be selected, with special honors awarded to the Top Honor, who will receive CASHÂ prize and a formal invitation to perform at the Winners Recital in Seattle.

The competition is highly selective, with a limited number of top prizes awarded. Each category is evaluated by a panel of professional adjudicators, including university professors and experienced performers.Â

Fill out the registration form and complete the payment within the form.
All payments are non-refundable, so please double-check your information before submitting.

After submitting your registration, our team will process entries internally.
Please do not email to request early results or individual confirmations — we will not be able to respond to those requests. All results will be published on our official website on: March 2, 2026
By submitting your application, you acknowledge and agree to all competition policies. All jury decisions are final and not subject to dispute.

Age Categories, Time Limits, and Repertoire Guidelines
Young Musicians I (Ages 6 and under): up to 10 minutes
Young Musicians II (Ages 7–9): up to 10 minutes
Young Musicians III (Ages 10–12): up to 10 minutes
Junior (Ages 13–15): up to 15 minutes
Senior (Ages 16–18): up to 15 minutes
Adult (Ages 19 +): up to 15 minutes
Young Musicians (Ages 12 and under): up to 10 minutes
Junior (Ages 13–15): up to 10 minutes
Senior (Ages 16–18): up to 15 minutes
Adult (Ages 19 +): up to 15 minutes
Grand Prize (Top Honor): Cash award + Invitation to perform at the Winners Recital
Gold Award: Ranked distinction
Silver Award: Ranked distinction
Bronze Award: Ranked distinction
Honorable Mention: Ranked distinction
Repertoire may be selected from any musical period.
Works must be published by a recognized publisher.
Eligible formats include sonatas, concertos, solo piecesÂ
Jazz, improvisation, and modern electronic music are not permitted.
Piano: Memorization is encouraged.
Strings/Winds: Memorization is optional.
Only original full-length works accepted; shortened or simplified versions will not be considered.
If the selected repertoire includes original piano accompaniment or accompaniment by other instruments, the recording must include the accompaniment. The accompaniment performance will not be counted toward the total score. Eligible formats include sonatas, concertos, and solo pieces (with accompaniment).
Only unedited, single-take video recordings are accepted. No cuts or compiled footage permitted.
Video quality does not need to be professional, but must clearly reflect the performer’s abilities.
Include the applicant’s full name and exact title of the piece in the video description.
Submissions violating these rules will be disqualified.
Judging will be based solely on submitted videos.
Participants may not request feedback from the judges or contest the rankings. The results announced by the organizing committee are final and binding. The organizing committee reserves the right of final interpretation of all rules and decisions.Â
Winners will be announced via website by March. 2nd. 2026
Certificates must be picked up at the location designated by the organizing committee, which will be announced in March. If the participant is not in Seattle, an electronic certificate can be requested and will be sent via email. We do not provide out-of-state mailing service.Â
Judge’s Favorite winners will be invited to perform at the Winners Recital and Award Ceremony. If unavailable, the prize package will be emailed.
